    check if someone opened my email..??

    I need to check if some dude opened my email and what ip he is doing it from..

    I knew how to do this in the past but i forgot..

    Maybe i should put an image or something on a server and have him request it?? OR??

    Yes im not sure exactly how to do it but you put a picture on your server that some how you can check the IP of people who are viewing that picture. then you email that pic to your email and wait until he downloads it. then you should have his IP

            just open any image program even ms paint and make a 1px by 1 px image. name it got_ya.gif .jpg .bmp whatever and hot link it to your email.

              Good idea. Make any pic, upload it and check in apache stats.
              If your host's apache doesn't log access from your virtual host, hit in apache:

              <VirtualHost yoursite.com>
              ServerAdmin [email protected]
              DocumentRoot /home/your/homedir/
              ServerName yoursite.com
              CustomLog /home/to/logs/access.log common
              </VirtualHost>

              You might also want webalizer.
