I, for one, am glad he's dead.
The Palistinians have had a horrible life since he took control. Today, they're at a "fork in the road." They can either continue they way they've been going and continue to enjoy a life of hell, OR, they can begin to come together as a people and a nation, consider peace with their neighbors and enjoy a full and productive life.
It's their choice and it'll be interesting to see what they choose.

Well, we could start with the fact that he was planning and executing the Hijacking of planes in the 60s and 70s, until he was kicked out of Lybia, then went on to plan, and finance thousands of murders specifically targeting women and children.
He took billions in aid money (millions of it from the US), that was meant to give his people a better life and instead stuck it in banks (mostly in France), while his people STILL don't have proper sewage and electricity.
That in 2000, when he had a chance to have a palistinian state, he turned it down so that he could stay in power.
The list goes on, and on. Even though some could say that there were people on the other side that were no better, that STILL doesn't make him a good guy.
