Ever get a check with a porn-type name on it?

i just went to the bank today, i deposit several checks at a time so i barely look at them. the teller said she had to go check the check out because it looked funny.

she comes back out after 5 minutes and tells me i have to put a 5 day hold on my pussycash check because it looked funny and there was no decimals or zeros. i look down at the check and it has 'pussycash.com' imprinted across the back of the check backwards in huge letters. i think the ink on their flyer may not have been dry when they put them together and it wore off on the check.

The 5 minutes was probably so they could pass that check around to employees and they could all laugh.

I hate that. Some of us need to show those checks as proof of income when we go in for a loan or a mortgage, whatever. and we dont need the whole community to know what we're doing.

I was depositing some fat Vivid Cash (Vivid Entertainment) & Flynt Digital checks a few weeks ago. The bank teller finally realized what kind of internet companies these were (because of the popular brand names) and thought it was cool. Next thing you know she's hitting on me and asking if I can take her to some Vivid, Huslter & Playboy parties, LOL.

Same thing with mine! I just deposited it yesterday in a stack with 8 other cheques, so I don't think my teller noticed.

When I clicked this thread title I was getting ready to tell the story of the pussycash newsletter bleeding all over my cheque, and it turns out that was your problem too.

That sounds pretty amateur.

I could not even recognize some of my sponsors because of how discretely they named the companies they put on the checks.

I hope that (mainstream) embarrassing title sponsor checks are in minority - if not a rare exception.

I once took an AFF check to my bank ( along with many others ) and deposited it. A couple days later I get a letter from the bank telling me that they had to put a hold on one check ( the AFF check ) because they had good reason to belive it was not good. So I went down there and asked them what was up, thinking maybe they knew something I didn't. The teller gets the manager, the manager pulls me aside and tells me that they held it because it comes from a " adult business" and these type of businesses are a high risk to bounce a check. At the time I had been with AFF almost 2 years and had never had a problem. I tell the manager that 90% of the checks I bring in here are from adult companies and none of them has ever bounced. I asked him if I brought in a check from Amazon.com would he question it? He said " no " so I say " you know that amazon has never made a profit? Chances are thier check will bounce before this one."

Long story short they did this to me again about a week later and I got the hint, they didn't want my porn money. So I went down and closed out the both my checking and savings accounts. the funny thing is this was a couple years ago and I had been saving to buy a house so my savings account was pretty fat. All of sudden when I withdrawl all my money he wants to be my friend. Fuck him.

just last week I met the mailman halfway im my yard. He was acting weird.. I thought he had to take a shit. He hands me the mail, we walk away from each other, i look down and right on top in big ass bold letters was a letter from a CC company addressed to "PORNLINX". A fucking domain that I havnt owned since 1998.

I then realize he didnt need to take a shit, he was trying not to laugh.

I never had any real obvious names on my checks like that. The worst one I think was "Raw Like Suishi" from a while back, which one girl did look at it and ask what kind of place that's from, then she guessed that it was a restaurant, so I went along with it and said that we sold some supplies to a Chinesse restaurant, ha ha ha.

I think I remember TripleXCash having their name on their checks at one time. They changed it now though, thankfully.

Also had one once from "United Pimps". That got me a funny look. Glad I didn't have to explain that one.

The worst for me is when they print my affiliate ID on the checks, because I almost always use "evildick".

There's been some people on here in the U.S. post that they have been denied service by certain banks because they didn't want to be associated with adult.

I don't know how the banks could get away with that.

i don't see how a company name on a check would cause a bank any problem, assuming it looks legal... so what if it says "I fucked your Mom" on the check, it's legal tender isn't it?
