Of course. Now that Ashcroft has done what he can as the "lightening rod" of the hand of god for a bit. Bush needs to put in someone who can protect him from the Abu Gharaib and war crime issues which still lie ahead, especially during crucial fighting in Falujja.

Gonzales' stance against geneva COnventions for suspects shows his unwillingness to appreciate international treaties.

He wants to be able to torture "suspects" without cause nor allow anyone labeled a terrorist to be allowed counsel.
