My grandfather just turned 80 this past week.
He said that he can't wait for them to take his license from him. Then someone can chauffer his ass around. |

I think that once you hit a certain age, say 65, that you should have to take an annual driver competancy test.
This all reminds me of a story...lol Tony and I were in Target the other day and there was an old lady and her cart, taking up the entire aisle. Now Tony always tells me I talk too quietly when I say "excuse me." So I cleared my throat and projected my voice extremely well and said, "EXCUSE ME MAAM!" She didn't move. She turned to look at her product and I saw that she had a hearing aid in. I said, I guess not, and went down the next aisle. When I met up with Tony I told him, if you're going to wear a fucking hearing aid, turn it the fuck up so you can fucking hear! Thanks for letting me vent.

I think at age 65 the elderly in US should have to re-take both portions of the driving test (both the written exam and the on-the-road exam). This would eliminate many accidents.
