It depends on how much space you need. I have and iPod 20 gig and a Creative Zen Xtra that holds 30 gigs. You can snag a Creative for $200 or so and it's excellent. A bit bulkier than the iPod, but the sound's excellent and it has some nice features. I only have an iPod because I got it for free.
