This action has basically given the US carte blanche to take out whomever they deem to have been responsible, or contributed to this terrorist action. The whole country is screaming for revenge - and that scream will only get louder as the death toll rises. The Bush administration cannot ignore this cry for blood, but they can pick and choose the target of their retribution.

How about this for a scenario - Bin Laden masterminded the whole thing, but Iraq trained and supported the suicide terrorists responsible ....

Now the US can thoroughly punish both these nations,(Afganistan and Iraq) by waging war with very little opposition.

What happened today was horrifying... but tomorrow will be Hell on Earth.

The US is going to DESTROY Afghanistan! They are harboring the FUCK that is responsible for thousands of INNOCENT Lives! The quick denying of bin ladin by the afghans shows they know he is responsible! Why else would they say so quick by their govt that he is not responsible? Even if Bin Laden doesnt like the US, why should he kill thousands of people that have NO control of the situation between the US and Israel!!!???

No one knows who is 100% responsible, but since even the people from the islam religion believe that he is responsible and already we have info that shows 1 of the bin laden people is part of it, what should we do??? And the people that were convicted of the first bombing of the WTC were connected to the bin laden organization! This is going to be a major situation! NOBODY is going to allow noone to pay!

Head, you obviously dont know the US govt! The population of the US probably want retibution far more than the President! And if you listened to how things were thought about, the citizens of the US would probably want more retribution than the President would be willing to put out.

The Pres may be willing to retalliate, but he is going to work with other countries before he takes action! The World Trade Building is not only a big part of the US economy, it is also 1 of the biggest parts of the whole worlds economy!

A lot of the silver and gold trading in the world was done in this building! A lot of the stock trading was housed here(not only us companies are part of the NYSE!) People are just plain fucking stupid

Afghani agreed to extradite Bin Ladin if US presents proof of his involvment in the attacks.

They are scared as shit of the invasion, but they will also play games to win time.

Also, if the US decides not to bomb (which will have very little effect) but rather to invade the Afghanistan, the Russians maybe joining the invasion.

Afghan is presenting a threat to Russian boarders for many month's and provides bases for the terrorists fighting in Chechnia.

It's about time for two biggest military-strong nations to join the forces and fight the terrorism together.
