I'd like to see none of them accepted.

Who the fuck needs new TLD's?

You even heard of .museum or .aero LOOL ?

Every museum of airport uses the .com extension anyway.

New TLD's aren't for surfers, they are just to make some companies rich.

This is what I have been told:

They do exist, but not as ICANN approved extensions. Hence, surfers need special software or something to access them in their browser (like IDN domains).

If ICANN ever does approve the extension, then supposedly the extisting .XXX domains become worthless.

Someone correct me if I have been fed bad information.

.xxx would suck royally especially with the new all right wing gov. Plan if it happens them making a law for you to have give up your .coms

I doubt ICANN will accept .xxx.

With .xxx it wouldnt work that way, those who had the .com version would have first shot at the .xxx version.

Just like anything else that we're faced with as an industry, .xxx has its possible pros and cons.

If any domain has a chance at "getting typed in" it's .xxx

Nobody remembers a .TV, .Net or .Org in most cases - but people WILL remember and type in a .xxx - believe that!

Also, for the people that say it can easily be blocked by ISP's and govts ... I say it can easily be unblocked by finding a .xxx friendly one!

It would be unconstitutional for the US GOV'T to mandate it to be blocked anyway - the ACLU and other citezen rights groups would be all over it in 5 secondfs and that would be GOOD PRESS for .xxx

If a surfer wants to find porn ... he'll go with an ISP that allows it - it's not that complicated.
