heya peoples,

anyone know how these actually work and where i can get one?

i have searched matts, a1java, hotscripts, zdnet, and a few other smaller sites but none have exactly what i am looking for.

i dont want them to email me (i already have webmaster contacts everywhere) i want them to email their friends with my url. all the scripts i am finding are for people to email the webmaster.

also, does this require use of my mail server?

any help would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated.

Amber... the tell a friend type scripts require cgi-bin access and use of your server's mail program.

There are many available to download for free. Try this one:

do you (or anyone) happen to know what kind of server load that might be if i have say, 8 to 10k physical script users (surfers using it) per day?

nobody really know about the server load? jl if you dont mind my asking how many users use yours in a 24 hour period? and what kind of load is that on your server? if you do mind just tell me to mind my own bee's wax

that freedback set up would be sweet if they didn't have so many diddly dang popups. using their bw sure would be nice, heh.

again, i really appreciate the feedback from evryone. good variety of scripts and i appreciate ya'll pitchin in and giving me some decent choices.
