Anyway, I went on the low carb diet last year and lost about 15 pounds in about 4 weeks. Just stop eating foods with added sugar and stay way from those chips at Baha Fresh. |
Well! You asked .. so here is my 5 cents ..
1. Get a trainer!! For god sakes you live in LA there is plenty of them. Don't you OWN a gym or something ? 2. Stop going to Raffi Kabbob for lunch! hee hee. 3. Get Healthy food delivered to you. Meals or Wheels ... 4. You can go on the SOUTH BEACH DIET if you got ONLY 2 days lose weight. 5. Girls like a little meat on their mans bones! Speically if there pockets are FAT!! xxoxx HMOSS www.hmossconsulting Alternative Billing Solutions ? Ask me How. |
Drink 1-2 Diet Rock Stars each day and you will not be as hungry and you will have more energy... or take ephedra.

What happend to the Hollywood diet, why the South Beach one. |
- Go watch that movie Super Size.
- Take something like Hydroxycut that will help you lose lbs and curb your desire to eat. Or... - If your belly gets too big, you wont see your cock. - High blood pressure. - Heart attack. - Limp dick. - You will be forced to pay for pussy. |

Get yourself busy for 48 hours straight. After a length of time w/o (much) food, you will be less hungry! :)
Just don't start scarfing or your stomach will stretch back :( |

besides, actually eating more often ( but little portions ) throughout the day speeds up the metabolism...reduce the amount and keep active.....you will lose weight... |
Dave .. it's actually really simple ... Keep eating & you'll die of bad health ..
When you die, I'm taking over the company, the cars, the house, the women, etc ... :thumbsup |

Hows your DVDs' working out? |
just start workin out more. eat smaller portions and more.. got nothing to worry about.

If I were you, I would seriously go to a doctor asap to get checked out. Scary thing is that you could be here today, and not be here tomorrow. People in their 20s can, and do have heart attacks. Basically you need to ask yourself how long you want to live, and if it's worth eating that much. If you don't care about dieing, eat away. But your body is not meant to handle that much, and at the rate you're going you'll be dead soon. Sorry, but it's the likely truth. |
eating 8 smaller meals a day is actually good for your metabolism. Well maybe 8 is pushing it, probably more like 6. But the key being small meals, 8 full meals is a different story.
You don't look fat my friend, but your words say you feel fat and whether you look it or not, that says something (either you need to shed a few pounds or your self image is off). quicklist... 1. 6 smaller meals a day... healthy meals :winkwink: Work out your diet with a nutritionist. Work out your diet with a nutritionist. Yes I typed that twice. 2. High fiber diet or even adding a fiber supplement. Fewer and smaller meals will make you feel hungry till your stomach shinks down, higher fiber will help with the fullness and hunger... 3. Figure out why you're eating so much? Been that way a long time, eating more cuz you're bored lately, no more girlfriend, etc.? Food is often a replacement for many different things and it becomes a bad habit. 4. Find an exercise route you can enjoy. Something like running might not be your thing. Then again after you find the runners high you might be barreling towards marathons in the future. Shoot some hoops, swim, whatever type you enjoy most. 5. Make it your goal if it's important. You've proved with TTI you can accomplish the goals you set your mind to. Don't expect it to be easy. Don't expect it to be quick. Don't do it for chicks. Do it for yourself. Personally I don't think you will do it. Ah, fuck it... I wrote all that for nothing because you CAN'T do it ... :321GFY How's that for motivation? :) I'd say good luck, but I'll say congrats in advance instead :thumbsup |
I think everything is normal, you are an american :thumbsup
|
Sorry if all this has been asked before but:
a) Do you have a tapeworm??? 8 FULL meals is a lot for a man to consume. Seriously, go to the doctor. b) Are you depressed or are you stressed right now? It may be something you want to explore with a psychiatrist. You may be a binge eater and they have good therapy for this and medication if you would be willing to take that step. c) Have you bought life insurance? If not, go do it. And might as well buy your casket/burial plot while you are at it. This type of eating can cause serious immediate problems. You apparently want help because you came here and asked for it. Please go talk to a professional. Friends are good to have in hard times, but they don't always give the best advice. So while you are getting some good ideas here, you really need to talk to your doctor and/or counselor for REAL advice and treatment. :2 cents: :thumbsup |

I have been loosing weight and its a long, long road indeed. My secret is a 30 minute daily work-out. Thats not that hard, I got a gym quality treadmill in front of the TV. And I do it 7 days a week. For food eat whatever the fuck you want. But keep the calories under 2,000 and the fat intake modest. Carbs don't matter at all and are good for you - but by keeoping the calories under 2,000 you can't eat a loaf of bread, either. |

Yes, you love food.. but so do a lot of other people. My suggestions that I think will help you more than any 'motivation' will - is to get into your doctor and make sure they give you a thorough physical. Thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances and etc can often cause these huge jumps in consumption, and weight gain. ESPECIALLY since you say you don't spend all day in just one spot. Shit man.. hit the docs, get some tests, and maybe they can get you onto something that will correct whatever is going wrong and then you'll be able to eat properly and lose weight and all your concerns would be able to be dealt with. I'm not saying it's necessarily going to be easy.. but at least you'll know from a PROFESSIONAL and EDUCATED point of view, what is going on with you. Good luck with it though! Oh, and as a tip.. drink a full glass of water before you eat each meal, it will reduce your appetite, help you cleanse your body more (you should drink 8 glasses a day) and prevent dehydration. :thumbsup |
I am the same way. I LOVE the way food tastes, feels in my mouth, etc. and pretty much no matter how much I eat, I never feel full. There is apparently some sort of something in the brain that tells you you're full that we don't seem to have.
I'm currently heavier than I've EVER been (50 pounds overweight) and I swear the only way I can keep from gaining more is to just not have access to much food. :( |
A gut is a sign of good living! And I know your living good!:winkwink:
|
Got to admit, you guys are pros here.
I think you should all get together and right a book. If there are any nutritionist out there, I may need an eating plan. Thanks again. |
David, This comes as a shock to me...I mean we have been friends and little did i know you were struggling with compulsive eating.......
The method I have is to use this tape........ It is not a video Tape...... http://www.msstate.edu/dept/poultry/pics/vhstape.jpg It is not an audio Tape...... http://www.cheapgeek.net/assets/showcase/duo-aria.jpg It is duct tape and you put it over your mouth and stop stuffing your fat fucking face...... http://www.screwfix.com/sfd/i/cat/23/2334_l.jpg |

It sounds like it's more a problem with the type of foods you're eating. So much food now is over processed, so it's already been stripped of most of the good fiber & vitamins before we ever get to it.
Eating a slice of white bread, for example, will start breaking down as soon as it hits your tongue, releasing too much insulin into your bloodstream too quickly. You'll end up getting a blood sugar spike that will actually make you hungrier than you were before you ate it. The South Beach Diet has a good explanation of what highly processed carbohydrates do to our bloodstream. Fix your insulin levels & the willpower won't be a problem. |

I dunno how much motivation this will be but think how hard it will be to get in and out of your lambo if you weigh 300lbs. :)

Hey, you have a wedding to go to right? Oh, ooh, watch out for that. I know how those get sometimes, especially when you drink alcohol at places like that, it makes you gain about 10lbs easy, cause all we get to do there is to eat and drink and drink some more all night long. (That's if you drink). I think alcohol is worst then junk food.
|
******* screen saver? that would cure my hunger pains
|
That's not that bad just cut it down to 5 times and the junk food eat half. Once a week eat just fruit and workout 5times a week. you'll reach 80 no problem.:winkwink:
|
Well if you are not willing to work out, or take advice from those of us that work hard, as a life style.
Then the easy answer is to go bulemic. You will shed quick pounds for this wedding, and then you can go back to eating whatever you want. However, after the wedding if you have any legitimate questions, about a healthy lifestyle i will be gald to talk to you. I am a personal trainer, and certified fitness consultant, so i will asssit you as i can. BTW, obviously the bulemic comment is not my proffesional answer. |

I understand you are looking pretty fit on your own diet plan. :thumbsup |
Wanna lose weight? Follow this simple equation:
Calories out > Calories in Watch your carbs and blood sugar as well. Lose a few pounds on a "diet" and gain it all back when you return to "normal". If you want to stay lean, your "diet" has to be "normal" (of course it will be more forgiving when you're maintaining a specific weight rather than trying to lose it). Yay! |

You got a tapeworm...

Seek mental help, sounds like you are in a downward sprial for depression. try prozac. or stop the pot smoking

And every week i say ok this is it..back to dieting, eating right, and working out! Not working. I need some help me self gained like 15 pounds in 2 months...:( not good. Let me know if you end up losing it..so you can give me some motivations!
I promise myself that i will look good for the Vegas show...Not much time left. let's use this for motivation..we can do it!!!! NadeDog 8=8 |

And I don't have mental problems, I just love to eat. That's All. I love food. |

I think we just need to motivate our selves and stay off the carbs for a month, that worked for me about 3 years ago, lost 15 pounds in one month. The problem is as soon as you start cheating, it hits you hard. |
