Why do all programs show exotic sports cars in their banners? why not a realistic car like a ford taurus or maybe an acura....

Because exotic sports cars are going to appeal to the 'I want one' sensation moreso than a Ford Taurus would... and that's what that's all about.. intoxicating webmasters to promote your program by showing them some of the things they can hope to buy after they've cashed their commission checks from your program.
It's a psychological thing...

because a broken down Honda Civic wont exactly make a webmaster think hes going to make bling, whereas a Ferrari might.
