    Now that this election is over, let us look forward in time . . .

    Bush can't run again, so who do you think the Republicans will trot out in 2008? Historically, the VP would be groomed, but Cheney doesn't want it, so who?

    Better question, who will the Democrats nominate? Please don't say Hillary, as that would just secure another Republican victory.

    Who do you think will be the candidates next time around?

                                              Republicans with a female VP? I highly doubt that. What about Rumsfeld?

                                              If the Democrats are stupid enough to go with Clinton and anyone (much less a black VP) they deserve to lose.

                                              Sorry, but this country is not ready for that. If anything, I can see Obama for President in another 12 years, but he is not known well enough yet to make that run in '08, and trying as Hillary's running mate would fuck his political career.
