    It appears to be an overwhelming win for President Bush

    Even though it is not officially final...President Bush appears to have been elected President by winning in the overwhelming majority of the States and with a larger popular vote than Al Gore had and set a record by receiving the largest number of votes cast for a Presidential nominee in the history of the United States.

    I predicted several months back that the President would win and provided the reason why he would defeat Senator Kerry. The bottom line reason is because Senator Kerry has a 20 year record in the Senate as being a staunch liberal...possibly even an ultra liberal...and Americans are basically moderate to conservative in their politics. A Democrat with better credentials ie...less liberal...may have won against President Bush.

                                                                                                                  This was my first post in about a month and so I will retire again...maybe until the mid term elections.

                                                                                                                  BTW...everyone here tonight going on and on about the President being re-elected but the President has little power compared to the Congress who holds the real seat of power and the Republicans picked up even more seats. It should have been the focus of concern if one were to be concerned as the President is basically powerless without the approval of both houses of the Congress.
