The great thing about Bush supporters is they will say "get over it, we won" meanwhile the rest of the world will (hopefully) take action as if Bush is as 'evil' as he is and manipulation the American people to get his vote using terror and fear as primary tool.

Note.. It's easier to see when you're on the outside like the rest of the world. When you're inside the barrage of government media and fear that's all you can know / worry about. It's all basic psychology.

The title you chose for this thread says it all.

If you believe that an election that still cannot be called as of Wednesday at 9:30 AM is an overwhelming win you start this thread with damaged credibility.

Bush won last night because people are afraid. Fear was the driving theme of the Republican campaign and it looks like it won out. One thing that has become clear to me is that the USA looks to be a fractured country and the deeply divided lines will only grow more visible when Bush pushes his "mandate from the American Public" forward.

Bingo bingo bingo!

I'm just hoping the rest of the world / the other side can start an opposing barrage of media of how Bush is using fear as his campaign.

I imagined if he loses he would say something stupid like "well I hope America will be safe."

I do think some radical will assinanate Bush though, of course getting this government out of office will be only solution.

I believe I said "appears" to be an overwheming win for the President though it is not official. The largest number of votes cast in the history of the USA for a Presidential nominee...winning the popular vote by a larger margin than Al Gore had in 2000...winning the overwhelming majority of the States...and apparently is going to end up with 286 electoral votes...appears to be pretty overwhelming to me. The President won because of the opponent he faced...and not for any other reason. Even the polls showed prior to...as well as exit polls...that a large percentage of those that cast a vote for Senator Kerry was not because they liked the policies and/or the qualities of the Senator but were simply casting a vote against the President.

What was Kerry's first words at his convention? "Reporting for Duty." Who suddenly claimed themselves a "war hero"?

You're right. Them dumb fucking military types sure have their heads up their asses. Beginning with NUMBA ONE, JFK.

Brother Teddy, the murderer, had to go over to Johnnie's house last night at 2am to suck his dick so he'd feel better.

You lost. Plain and simple. And no amount of bitching is gonna change it. It's only gonna make you feel better and give all of us more reason to laugh at you.

You made your decision. Now, be man (or woman) enough to live with it. It's not like you weren't TOLD this was gonna happen. So what if a majority of the American Public don't agree with you. Piss off. It's America. We don't HAVE to agree with you.

Go set up your operations in Paris, Berlin, or Havana. They'd love to have you there. Or, you can realize you're an American, suck it up and "evolve." Your choice. Oh, and if you go to Paris, take Johnny boy with you. He knows where there's a "fine meeting place" you could all get together. He's been there before.

Matt

This is the second thread today that I have seen talk of assassination. First anyone (not you Matt as i know you are just speculating here) who advocates murder is even more intolerant than I believe the Bush team is and there is no way the American public could support such intolerance.

Look at history, assassination has most often resulted in the killed person's agenda being rubberstamped as a result. The Bush team is composed of many elements and I have often believed that GW is merely the frontman for a much larger group of power brokers in DC. Assassination would serve no purpose and would only strengthen the resolve of the right wing extremists.

Lastly, talk of assassination is the surest way to increase investigation of yourself by the Federal gov't. The Secret Service investigates even idle wishful thinking on such a topic.

.

You are an idiot. Winning incumbants win by more than 3% and a few elecotral votes. I don't see how that is "overwhelmingly". WOW he got more votes than any president. Um duh we have more people in this country now. Kind of hard for Lincoln to get 50 million votes when the US had only 30 million people total and half the country left the union and women and blacks couldn't vote.

Past winning incumbants. Bush is weak.

1996 Clinton beat Dole by 8.2 million

1984 Reagan beat Mondale by 17 million

1972 Nixon beat Humphrey by 18 million

1964 LBJ beat Goldwater by 16 million

1956 Ike beat Stevenson by 9.5 million

1948 Truman beat Dewey 2.2 million, but less than 49 million voted.

1944 FDR beats Dewey by 3.6 million, less than 48 million voted

1940 FDR beats Willkie by 4.9 million, less than 50 million voted

1936 FDR beats Landon by 11.1 million, less than 46 million voted

1924 Coolidge beats Davis by 7.5 million, less than 29 million voted

I could go on and on.........
