politician's pander for votes. id rather have them care about my area just as much as LA or any other big city. if they dont, we will lose out on alot of things which will be shifted over to the bigger cities for votes which is bullshit. its forced relocation. if you want to benefit from our elected leaders, you need to move to a big city because thats where all your tax dollars will be sent.
