I got braces at 32 and I am here to tell you it sucks. I think it was worth it in the long run though. I did have them take them off after 2 years though instead of keeping them on for the extra year they wanted me to.

When they came off for the first couple days my teeth felt like they were falling out. Then I got used to it. I didn't want to do the retainer thing so I have wires on the back of my teeth now, which aren't too bad once I got used to the feel.

Well, now, that will depend on what you're wearing besides the headgear ;)
