Saw that and pointed it out to my family when it happened...it was almost as if he didn't care.

It was however clear in the 2nd song that he wasn't.

he did the same thing on the last time he was on SNL...it isn't lip synching, he just raps along with himself...

a LOT of rapper do this....ecspecially with new songs they may not know all of the lyrics too quite yet or are unsure of....

Heh, propaganda usually is powerful. When you can convince people that their problems are someone elses fault it leads to violence.

watch them closer next time

black eyed peas did it, jay z did it.....

i always notice that shit, the only reason you all are noticing it now is cause of ashlee simpson

if anyone can find the lose yourself performance, he did the same thing with that one for the chorus....the raps are usually not there, but the chorus isfor most pop/rap performances

like i said, find the other performances he did on mtv, and also the black eyed peas ones

he does the EXACT same thing during the chorus of the songs....exactly to a tee

i doubt it was an ashlee simpson jab, it is just the chorus and he probably gets sick of repeating it constantly or something

Live performance are usually bad and you can barely hear the artist. Maybe he wanted the people to hear the lyrics.

Eminem is a rapping genuis. So what if he wanted to lip synch a song. It's still his voice and his "lyrical genuis." Why does everyone got to get pissed off so much because a white boy can rap so damn good.

This happens all the time, usually with pop bands or pop acts. If it's a big event some rock bands will even do it. Go back and look at tapes, you'll see how bad it is.

On the same note, if people shit on Ashley Simpson, why won't they shit on Eminem?

In his defense though, if you know anything about recording, there are multiple vocal tracks so he probably was singing along with the other track.

It makes it more powerful, but it does look funny.

It's not that, it's just the fact that he was lip syncing.

EMINEM is one of my idols when it comes to rap. I never knew his secrets. Do I need to know? Never mind. As long as I am enjoying his piece.

All you apologists saying his stupid ass "rhymes"' are so great make me laugh. There is no "backing track", he is simply making believe he is performing. while his pre-recorded vocals play off a tape deck or computer. That's the definition of lip-syncing. He's an untalented little bitch and never was anything more than a male Britney Spears propped up by Dr. Dre's production.

What rock groups make believe they are singing or playing during a supposedly live performance? None of the ones I have seen, and I have been to a lot of concerts in my life. I can only imagine how lame that must be and the audacity they must have to charge their fans hard earned money to see a pantomime show.

You gotta be brain dead to not notice that most live performances are lip synching. You don't even need to watch them to see if they make a mistake. I can just listen to the song and tell you whether or not it is really live.
