i saw a ferrari testarossa the other day...

i saw a ferrari testarossa the other day... and it was one of the coolest fucking cars i've ever seen in my life.

we don't get many kick-ass vehicles driving around up here. i mean, they exist, but they don't get out much for 'us' to see.

any of you own one? how do they drive. i'm really fucking interested in getting one in a few years. i've always like them a lot. i fucking love them actually! those and lamborghini countachs. (my buddy's cousin just bought a countach the other day actually, i have to go check it out. i've never even seen a lambo in real life before!!!!)

entertain me. i want opinions!

Ferrari's are sweet. You might have trouble finding a Countach though, they've been out of production for a long time. We've got plenty of Diablos around here though. There's a Lambo Dealer just a few miles away.

i can't afford a diablo (yet?)! fuck i'd love to see and drive one though. countach and the testarossa's are my car. i'll probably still love them when i turn 50 just like my dad loves the old ac cobras today.

i'm actually pretty serious about the opinions. i can't really get any around here. owners are very few and far between around this section of the world!

oh, and i knew coutach's were out of production. so are the testarossas. i'd have to get 2nd hand. but that's for the better probably, due to my 'financial difficulty'

I was beside a Dodge Viper. Man those are cool. My dentist has a lambourgini sp? and said he would take me for a ride if I built him a site on his car. Unfortunately he is very busy and a little unreliable.

Testa has a very notchy gearbox must warm tranny oil, clich heavy enough to make your leg twitch. Steering also heavy, but direct.v12 sounds amazing and all you can think of is miami vice. Countach and diablo seats are way too tight even for a super skinny 5-10 guy. both cars you sweat buckets and twitchy enough to make the passenger sick...AC cobras are just plain super loud in a harley davidson way. I'll take one of each please...

i've seen a dodge viper too, never driven it though. this testarossa blew it away. it was amazing. the vipers and beamers and vettes around here just don't stand out. the ferrari was just in a class of its own.

i'm 6'1", almost 6'2". so i need to fit inside one of these comfortably.

when i saw the testarossa, i was inside a car, so i never got to listen to it. it was moving so fucking fast there's no way for us to catch up to it if we turned around and chased it either!

a few of my buddies have seen mclaren f1s and lamborghini diables and the whole works. despite the million dollar price tag on the f1s, the quarter-mill diablos still impressed them (and stood out) more than any other car they saw.

the mclaren f1 is the only car (in my opinion) that i MIGHT buy over the diablo if money was truly no concern!

One of my so called friend have a viper with hennysey soup-ups and it sounds pretty amazing, and he claims its got 650hp, but I don't think he did the whole stage (whatever) packages. I think if its ever possible in Canada I take a porsche GT3 or a lotus elise, they don't come here.

I don't really like a Testarossa or a F40..... I like luxury cars like a Bentley better but this Ferrari is real nice.

Hehe, that reminds me. There's an actor (crap actor, should I say) called Rowan Atkinson. The guy from Mr. Bean, Blackadder, and a few other television shows.

Car: Purple McLaren F1
Cost him: More than £650,000 ($923,000)
Status: Stuck up the arse of another car, insurance write-off

He's also crashed an Aston Martin

One very unlucky guy.

I don't think Hun has transparent walls in his garage...

The Hun, very sweet car indeed! i don't care about anyone bragging either! i want to hear some opinions of ppl who own and drive these things!

i'm not going to buy a brand new sports car anytime soon, but potentially may buy a 2nd hand ferrari or lambo.

kuwawawah, i believe you are right. it was probably a 512tr. i'm confused with the testarossa name actually. some of the 'testarossas' i know of don't use the name testarossa at all. any ferrari with those kick-ass lined side effects is a testarossa to me!

The silver car was a Ferrari 550 Maranello. And indeed, that's not my garage, that's inside the showroom where I bought the car. In my garage I need a fisheye before I can get enough distance to get it in the picture ;-)

Is the red one (yours) a Maranello too?

I have to agree with you Hun the Ferrari is a better looking Car then the 911 ( but not by much)
However i have been dreaming of bying a 911 since i was young and i finally got my wifes approval to buy one in the next 2-3 years

So i gues i just have to be satisfied with that LOL

The Aston Martin Vanquish has got some brutal power behind it (especially since the engine is conservatively tuned. a quick chip re-write and it'll snap your neck and the people you pass).

Lotus Esprit's are damn nice for only $80k.

I don't agree with you HUN , I have a F355 and it doesn't look like a old people car, look like I stole it if anything. I love the 360, but it might be alittle too flashy to drive to the local conviences store, I drive my car everywhere, and I don't get pull over as much as when I had a red F348. I now dream for a aston martin vanquish, that is a cool ride, or the F550.)

and that silver car in the picture is 150% a 550 Maranello no doubt.. It looks sick in the movie "family man" with nick cage. I like the new m3 paddle shift, probably the best all around car.

Sorry to say that, but Camaro owners seem to be very arrogant about their cars. I hope it doesn't include you too !

It seems like the owners that I know think it's the best car in the entire world

Nope, it is a Kuwahara I believe they went out of business long time ago, due to GT BMX and other great names. E.T. had a Kuwahara in the movie But that was one of inferior quality...

Love the Schwinn too though...
