Predictions! The Republic of Gilead is at Hand!
As I mentioned a long time ago, the Fundamentalist Christian Republic of Gilead is at hand. It was the choice of the Protestant Midwest and the former slave owning South that made it for us. 21% of those polled yesterday said morality was the number reason behind their vote. The Snake dancing, Tongue speaking Christians came out to vote in huge numbers. We must face our fate that our country is now official ruled by people that believe a 2000 year old radical rabbi that was nailed to a tree holds the keys to our future.
What happens next? Well more of the same heavy handed Republican policies will be pushed. The major change will occur when Bush appoints new members to the Supreme Court. In association with DeLay's Congress, Bush will move to reverse Roe v. Wade. California will move to seceed from the United Sates. This will be the next key break since without California's 55 electoral votes, the Gilead Republicans will consolidate their strength. California's withdrawl will cause massive economic issues since the U.S. loses its engine. Long Live the Republic of Gilead. The Judgment is at hand!

I found something very intersting with the exit polling.
Those that go to religious services regularly voted for Bush; those that didn't attend services regularly voted for Kerry. A war of secular against organized religion.

California can't leave the u.s. before an election and the electorate changes from year to year. So your wrong either way ( or the article you copied that from i should say )

California can hold elections at any time. The Federal government has no control over local elections. The reasons I believe California would leave is our progressive nature here. We are the only state that could survive and prospere as an independent nation.
