This is one of the most important elections in our history and you are voting for someone that never had even a hint of a chance to be elected.

whats your point? maybe kerry was proud to have served our country? you really think the government is gonna start throwing a bunch of it's own soldiers in jail for war crimes? most of them didn't even wanna be there, but they didn't have a choice. this is such a non-issue that both sides keep trying to spin one way or the other, it's pathetic!

Because I'm voting for someone I like rather then for someone I don't like, I'm "wasting my vote"? Why on earth would I support someone who's ideals and proposed policies are almost completely at odds with my ideals? That, to me, would be a wasted vote.

I prefer to not help perpetuate this attrocity that is the 2 party system. I prefer to tell both major parties that I am a voter who would rather vote for someone who isn't going to win then support them. So long as the 2 parties have enough sheep that are too scared to vote for anyone else, they'll stay in power.
