I got 2 galleries accepted to TheHun... question

One was accepted to the 'overflow' ... is that worth anything at all?
the other was just normal thehun listing.

I'm rather excited, i submitted twice to theHun and they were both accepted.. looking forward to seeing the results!

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

Yep, the overflow will still send quite a bit of traffic.
I believe it is something like 50k.

i dont know anyone that has got any SU's from the Overflow, but anythings possible.

be prepared for the bandwith bill.

How much bandwidth should i expect to go thru? Cause I might need to upgrade since im using a hell of a lot right now.

yes but not all in one day in 3 days

but you have 2 listed so that will change it not sure what overflow uses

if someone cant get a sale off 2 galleries posted on the hun they should get a job flipping burgers somewhere.

You never really know, depends on the niche and how many take The Hun's listed galleries for their own sites on that day. Some of them send a good amount of traffic too.

Lately a small japanese site on a freehost linked to my gallery which he seemed to like and got me an extra 10k traffic per day.

You can do 30 sales you can do 0 sales. Yes its possible to burn 100 gigs and do 0 sales. It all depends on your sponsor and gallery.

What he said. There's far too many factors to say how many sales. I've even had a gallery do nearly $2k in sales one month and a very similar gallery with the same sponsor do just 30 the next.

And yes - overflow can and does make sales. It can sometimes even do better than the main page if the moon is in the right phase, the wind blowing the right was etc etc.

I have recieved many of sales from hun overflow. When it comes to gay galleries, I prefer the overflow. Getting a link to gay on the front page is just a waste... horny surfers clicking wildly everywhere... in the overflow, for them to click gay, its all categorized, so IMO better targetted.

only a couple of weeks ago I had a Silvercash gallery (Videoseeker) in the overflow, pulled 5 sales.. happy with that

I dont need a sig.

Look at it this way. If you're good, your entire gallery is about 1 MB in size. Multiply that by 50K visitors a day for 3 days. We're talking 150 GB.

Any galleries of mine that were accepted to the overflow got sign-ups for me. The overflow traffic can be awesome sometimes.

I'ld post more galleries on the Hun but the bandwidth bills don't cut it. I've got lots of affiliate programs but danged if they convert.

It's a combination of factors I guess. Sometimes ya win, sometimes ya lose.

Better make sure your apache is tuned up to handle it too.

I made this mistake when I upgraded and spent half the day
wondering why I had a 5.2Mbit cap on the traffic.

In your httpd.conf make sure MaxClients is set to 350 - 500
to fully handle a day when you've got 2 top 10 TGP listings.
