I don't like to call people idiots, especially people I don't know personally, but seriously, it doesn't make sense to me to vote for Bush. I don't particuarly like Kerry, either, but why Bush?
This is how I see it. Why vote for a man who has been PROVEN to be a bad leader (numerous mistakes with Bin Laden, Iraq, WMD, etc.), conservative, outspokenly anti-porn, loss of jobs, taking us from the largest government surplus in recent history to the largest deficit in history, etc... when you can vote for a man with a clean presidential slate who MIGHT do a better job? If someone showed you two doors and told you there was a man with a gun who would shoot you dead instantly behind one, and either another man who would shoot you dead instantly or a million dollars behind the second door, and one of the doors was made of glass and you could SEE a man with a gun behind it, which one would you open? Most folks would just walk away, I would imagine, but what if you felt you HAD to do one or the other? If you don't like Kerry, fine, but for god's sake, why vote for Bush when it has been proven that he's a horrible president? Just don't vote at all. |

"you are an idiot because I'll bet you have no idea what Kerry represents and what his platform is." Ok, so what I'm saying is that someone who still votes for Bush after all that's happened is an idiot... you're saying I'm an idiot because of a bet you'd make as to what you assume I might be thinking or what I might know. Not based on anything I do know or will do. So we're left with what we started... I know you're an idiot by what you've admitted, you think I might be if I think what you think I might think but you're not sure because you have no idea. you assume, I know... which one of us is the idiot? |

I will probably have more than 50 decisions to make on my ballot. State Issues Many, many Local Issues Federal candidates State candidates County candidates City candidates Shit there will be a ton of crap to vote on. I feel sorry for people who think ?voting? is just for picking a President. |

Keep your canadain comments in Canda....eh' |
AMP you completely lost the argument, give it up. Voting is a responsibility for an adult in a democratic society, he never said it was required by law. You're the one with the weak argument. Voting is more comparable to educating your children than driving.
And Baddog, it's always funny when people learn a half truth and then criticize other people based on it, keep up the good work. America is a democratic republic. It's also hilarious that you think Kerry is going to bring back the draft, who told you that? Rush? That's the biggest load of bs I've ever heard. |

Kerry has no choice but to bring back the draft, and raise taxes thru the fucking roof if you are to believe half of the crap that he says he is going to do. He already said that he is going to escalate the war in Iraq in order to "win" it . . . he has no choice but to bring back the draft if he wants to do that. |

Constitution-based federal republic = Republic In other words . . . a Democratic Republic. This isn't something you should need to "google." |

Are you trying to be funny, or is the humor incidental? |

I checked some political threads here and saw you're supporting and defending Bush. That's why I came to the conclusion that you are probably voting for him. |

Kerry is going to be bringing troops home, and getting other countries to help a hell of a lot more. You don't realize that because you're stuck in your US bubble, but the rest of the world WILL help Kerry get the fuck out of Iraq. They're not going to send troops as long as Bush keeps his 16 permanent bases. Right after Kerry wins several countries are going to announce that they're going to help in one way or another, including Germany and Canada. A US resolution won't be far behind. That's the only kind of "win" anyone can hope for in Iraq at this point.

Why would I bother stating facts when this board is 99% ultra-liberal socialist??? It's like throwing a raw piece of meat to a pack of wolves...You guys are all preaching to the choir...However, I hope you all will enjoy my posting this week announcing GW Bush's victory.....Go wake up some stoners this week to vote Dems, every vote counts ;-) Oh yea, don't forget to encourage black people in Florida and other key states to falsely claim voter rights infringement to the evil white man.

Funny to see you talk about facts, every time someone proves you wrong with facts you somehow seem to forget about the threads. It's also humorous to see you calling a board full of entrepreneurs socialists. |

And regardless of what you think, it's still a privelege, and it is still NOT required. And that was all I said up front. The whole "responsibility" thing came from indigo, not me. I choose not to vote. You are welcome to make the same choice. Problem? :) |
I lost nothing Rich. The two things I said right from the beginning still stand.,
It is a revocable privelege. It is not required. Beyond that, I don't care what ridiculous arguments or comparisons you come up with. :) |
I cant decide on the turd sandwich or the giant douche.
