Internet Explorer is screwed up
I got an email which auto popped up a chinese site and that site ran an active x which added some text on the title part of my brorwser. All the browsers I open now have that chinese text. It's getting really annoying, someone recommended to restore the registry but it didn't work. Would anyone know how to take it off?

Go into the registry...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\ It will be one of the CLSID's. One click them and look for your title addition in there, once you found the new CLSID nuke it and reboot. |

thanks Wilber although it wasn't there. But I found where it was... it's in the:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main For anyone else who have this problem look there in regedit and just delete whatever text there is in window title. |

Upgrade to Internet Explorer 6.0.1
I have been running it for 3 weeks now .... AND IT IS FUCKING SWEET !!! All the bugs that the preview release had have been fixed.
