A rep from First Place, 1p.com, gave me a call offering SEO services. I never heard of them. Anyone have any stories, positive or negative? Let me know.

PR0, 0 backlinks. Now you wonder with that kind of rep, who exactly are they? Well, do a text based search for 1p.com and you'll find out they are the same people who run Traffic Power. Now do a search for traffic power and you'll see what kind of scam artists they are.

That was the first reaction I thought of when it was mentioned he was called about SEO. TrafficPower is famous for their direct phone marketing of their SEO stuff. That's not quite true, they do want to encourage good SEO work from people in order to get the best search results possible. -Ask him if he's written any tools himself
-Ask him what exactly he'll do, SEO isn't rocket sience, just takes time and knowledge.
