Most polls consist solely of 'likely voters' ... which means voters who voted in the last presidential election.

I think a lot of new voters will come out this year, and MANY of them will be there to show their disappointment with GW.

I think the main point here is that the vote is simply too close for the polls to tell us much of anything about who is actually going to win. We will only find out by staying up until the wee hours on Nov 3rd.

I think the Ohio results are interesting though. Kerry is suppose to win that state. Most of the polls, however, show Bush with a 3-5 point lead, and that lead has been fairly consistent.

Last week Kerry had a 1 point lead, which has since faded. I don't think Kerry can win without taking Ohio OR Florda. He needs at least one of those two states. If Bush pulls an upset in Pennsylvania, it's over.

Definitely. These polls are so fluid..they change hourly.

One thing pointed out on NBC news tonite is that the Bush campaign is VERY worried about ONE specific poll.

Bush's overall approval has fallen to it's LOWER ever level at 44%.
NO President has EVER been re-elected with that low of an approval level.
