Why pot should be legalized - the Canadian viewpoint!

As a part-time job I once drove "drunks home from the bar in their car" - while a chase driver followed and picked me up.

As a drinker myself - which yes admittedly - I have abused the substance - just like many abuse cigarettes, food, coffee, sugar etc ...

One night this dealer gives me a crystal pot joint as a tip.

I said - I never heard of "crystal pot - what's that?"

He said it was the crystals shaken off the buds when harvesting.
Just the crystals.

I took one third of the "crystal joint" he gave me - mixed it with tobacco and ....WHOOOOOOOOOO
WOW ...

Anyways the one sentence he said to me was - "I've never made bad decisions when smoking a joint - I've always made my bad decision while drinking."

I never forgot that one sentence.
Because it's true.

Pot would already have been legalized in Canada if it wasn't for US pressure.

However, the worst thing is EATING !!!!

The more you eat the more sugars you burn and the more "free radicals" that are produced within your cells that cause cancer.

There is no statistical difference between insurance claims of people that only smoke pot and do not drink or smoke pot.
That was on the CANADIAN discovery channel.

We all have our "drugs" of choice - be it "ice-cream" late at night or your morning coffee.

In my opinion it should be legalized. I too make bad decisions when drunk, not high. I get kinda paranoid driving really high. Drunk I could care less. I find that when I have back pains or migrains I have a joint here and there and the pain goes away.

I have been diagnosed with Rheumatic Fever and my joints hurt sometimes. Smoke a joint and have a hot bath - works great.

I think the poster meant that smoking anything was stupid - as it is. However, we all like our different "drugs" ... for some its sex and for others it others.

It's been awhile.

And thankfully - I haven't come across anyone selling any REALLY GOOD BUD ...because I have to be tested on Monday.
