I think hot linking is a solution to the NEW 2257 compliance issues.

If the graphics aren't physically on your server then why would you need the physical documentation?

Have I got this wrong - as I do NOT want to know the private information of the models?

I want to discuss the graphics/video in a positive and negative manner.

I don't think hotlinking would get around 2257, you are still providing access to the material and making money from it in the US.
