    What Happened to Drunkslut Trials???

What happened to offering trials at Drunkslut? I know it MIGHT result in more money for all of us, but surely we could have been warned about this change?

Maybe we were and I missed it?

I see... I just saw the exit console offering the $4.95 trial...

Have you guys researched this before trying it?

    Damn I hope it works!

I hope they did and I agree that a warning would be nice. I have several sites that advertise a free trial for $3.95 and they all need to be changed now.

The weird thing is, if the surfer enters the site and decides to buy the full $24.95 and chooses "Signup Now by Credit Card", another console pops up:

"BEFORE YOU LEAVE.... We want to offer You a 3 day trial for $4.95!"

If the surfer already decided to pay for a month, why temp him with a free trial that's not even mentioned anywhere else on the site?

It's a test. It's not perminant, we're seeing how it works.

Like Lens said, It's a test.

So far it's been highly successful, the trial page only pops if they exit the joinpage, not if they click the join button.

Ah, it only appears when using Netscape [4.7].

i Personally like the 24.95 upfront fee. With the ammount of people cancelling there trials. We werent making enough bank. This way we can make some bank of each signup.

And I havent noticed a big descrease in the signup numbers either.
