(CNN) -- Osama bin Laden delivered a new videotaped message in which he told Americans their security does not depend on the president they elect, but on U.S. policy.

He also claimed responsibility for the attacks of September 11, 2001, which killed nearly 3,000 people.

"Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda," bin Laden said in the video aired on the Arabic language network Al-Jazeera.

Clearly Osama is not a very smart person. Since each of the presidential candidates is offering different policies to be followed, it is clear that U.S. policy depends on which president we elect.

Either Osama never took a logic course, OR he has heard both of our main candidates promising to make us "safe" from terrorists and Osama is trying to say that neither one can make us safe.

I was in the military for 12 years, I had the opportunity to spend a TON of time with civilians/locals in Saudi while I was stationed there. Trust me I know that culture VERY well...

A vote for BUSH will continue the cycle of HATE he began by entering the front door of Iraq...

at some point we have to say NO to hate and begin restoring hope to the world that we are not war-mongers...

We killed a few K civilians in Afganistan, people in the world knew that was a CLEAR target for us...and we had their support...

killing 25-100k civilians in IRAQ who have not been satisfactorily proven to have 1) WMD or 2) direct links to al Queada is WRONG WRONG WRONG...

a vote for BUSH is a vote for HATE

Bush is a wolf in sheeps clothing...

Just because he proclaims himself to be a good Christan, loving man doesn't make it so....look at his actions

1) misrepresented the truth
2) failed to admit or stand up to it
3) caused the death of a HORRENDOUS number of innocent men, women and children

ask yourself, do good Christians do that???? or fuck that, ask yourself do GOOD HUMAN BEINGS do that???

You know the answer to that question, be honest with yourself, and don't allow the merchant of death to sell you more FEAR...

Please vote for peace and to make the world a safer place...vote against a war monger who has no sorrow for those 25-100k civilians he killed...that 'eye for an eye' he went overboard on, no intellectually honest person could think otherwise....

do the right thing man, don't buy the hype, vote for peace

Then you're voting libertarian? Badnarik is just about the only candidate running a campaign for peace. You certainly don't mean Kerry, if you think Kerry wants peace, then you haven't been paying attention to what the guy has been saying. I don't think anyone pays attention to what he says, they just say that he isn't Bush and fill in what they want to hear in order to feel good about voting for him.

Marching up on the front door of a COUNTRY and killing somewhere between 25-100k civilians is the way to handle it?

Doing it without the majority of the global neighbors BACKING us is the way to do it?

Beginning a process to restore peace is to quit killing thousands and thousands of civilians...this conflict needs to be carried out in a MUCH different manner in which Bush has engaged...

I'm for peace, however, that doesn't by ANY means I'm against killing our enemies... Don't confuse the two.

Oh and in regards to the Libertarian party, I agree with much of their platform, but have been a registered voting Republican until this election... I will be voting for Kerry as he has a better plan and is more in touch with the reality of the world in which we live.

I will not waste my vote, I ran out of naive pills last year.

:winkwink: :thumbsup
