    Its has something to do with the stats.

      sounds like something fucked up and theyre restoring from backups

          Ok.
          Stats got screwed up for a day and that's what they said about it. A "database replication issue".

              they probably have their db's spread across multiple boxes, replication refers to syncing up the db's across all boxes.
