GTA is dissapointing me

The colors seem to be fine to me. Have you been anywhere but the first area?
And if you can't control cars/motorcycles with the analogue stick...well I dunno what to tell you. I haven't had any problems.

you get the hang of using the analog stick to drive around. The colors do suck early morning and when the sun goes down. In the game settings you can mess with the brightness though so you might try that.

Ya turned the brightness all the way up, still yellowy, and the analog sucks. I been playing driving games for years with the directional pad. Too fuckin jerky otherwise. Anyways

I think Halo 2 > GTA: SA

i love the game, they use the directional pad for some other buttons. i didnt like it at first but got used to it quick. the color is fine to me.

The writing has been on the wall for years about the directional pad. Get used to it. Once you get the hang of it you have much better control than with the d pad.
I've always used it, tho my friends that didnt were also pissed in the beginning. Now they undestand why I always bitched about using the d-pad for driving games.

Poor kid, you only have an xbox, right?
I've had both since day one, and if I had to choose only one or the other, I'd go all the way with the ps2. The better graphics on the xbox do not justify it's uglyness, and the lack of good games.
Halo is the only reason to have an xbox, and for god's sake, it's just a shooter...

when is new GTA coming to xbox. cant imagin buying an outdated machine such as the ps2, for one game, then already be done with it when xbox gets the better version of it

I cant get used to that damn control for some reason, I mean lets see I been usin it since nintendo, not to mention colecovision

Seriously people, if you wanna play the biggest quantity of great games when they are released, you gotta have a ps2.
I didn't bother buying vice city for xbox as I had already moved on to other games once it was released. Right now I'm playing San Andreas and Ace Combat 5, another incredible game I was really waiting for, and it's a PS2 exclusive. I'm not a big fan of RPGs, the only other niche in which xbox is good, still, I enjoyed KOTOR, but sold Fable on ebay as it was a crappy linear game for my taste. In fact, I'm gonna get a gamecube for metroid prime 2, as the first one is as good or better than halo... Also, I've been playing Viewtiful Joe on the ps2, kick ass game, it was a gamecube exclusive for a whole year, if i'd known how great it is, I would have bought the cube earlier...
So what I want to say with all this is, if you only got an xbox, you are missing on a lot of the fun..... Go grab a new slim ps2, it will look nicer next to your tv, and you will stop being a player hater
