I got a Presidential Spam today!

This came in my email today.
the title was "Patriotic Friends"

and the message:

If you are known by the friends you make, is John Kerry the
person we want to be President of the United States?

Minister Mahatir Mohamad on the left, John Kerry in the middle and Yasser Arafat on the right>

Undoubtedly, Kerry will be less enthusiastic about Israel than Bush.
Arafat Confidant and Former Palestinian Authority Security Minister
Hani al-Hassan

Jerusalem Post, October 23, 2004

Investor's Business Daily October 19, 2004

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat, who Senator Kerry proclaimed has transformed from ?outlaw to statesman?, recently returned the favor by having his Foreign Minister, Nabil Shaath, declare that a Kerry victory would ?be a good thing.?

Jerusalem Newswire October 19, 2004

Subsequently, a prominent Arafat aide proclaimed that ?the President (Arafat) thinks Kerry will be much better for the Palestinian cause??

World Net Daily October 18, 2004

Another prominent world leader to endorse Kerry, the notoriously anti-Semitic former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Mohamad, who declared that the Jews ?rule this world by proxy?, urged a vote for Kerry.

Jerusalem Post October 18, 2004

When John Kerry Proclaimed "I've met foreign leaders who can't go out and say this publicly, but boy, they look at you and say, 'You have got to win this'", who knew that the world's greatest terrorist; a notorious anti-Semite and the official Iranian newspaper would be the ones to endorse John Kerry for President?

Bush gets political endorsement from Iran

The head of Iran's security council said on Tuesday the re-election of President Bush was in Tehran's best interests, despite the administration's axis of evil label, accusations that Iran harbors al-Qaida terrorists and threats of sanctions over the country's nuclear ambitions.

Historically, Democrats have harmed Iran more than Republicans, said Hasan Rowhani, head of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran's top security decision-making body.

"We haven't seen anything good from Democrats," Rowhani told state-run television in remarks that, for the first time in recent decades, saw Iran openly supporting one U.S. presidential candidate over another. "We should not forget that most sanctions and economic pressures were imposed on Iran during the time of Clinton," Rowhani said of the former Democratic president. "And we should not forget that during Bush's era -- despite his hard-line and baseless rhetoric against Iran -- he didn't take, in practical terms, any dangerous action against Iran."

Though Iran generally does not publicly wade into U.S. presidential politics, it has a history of preferring Republicans over Democrats, who tend to press human rights issues. "We do not desire to see Democrats take over," Rowhani said when asked if Iran was supporting Kerry against Bush.
