I *just* went outside and looked right before I read this thread. I was about to start one asking if anyone can see it, lol.
It's cloudy here and I can't see shit.  The moon looks like it's really bright. There's still a lot of light peeking through but the clouds are blocking it. I hope it clears up in the next 2-3 hours.

Shit. I'm gonna miss the whole thing. I can't even see enough light to tell where the moon is, now.
I read this earlier, so I was excited: "The best chances of a good view will be in northeast New York, most of New England, along the Gulf Coast of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Florida Panhandle, and over much of Washington State and northwest Oregon." I'm down in the Gulf Coast/panhandle area so I thought I was going to get a really good view.

baddog....this time of year is our rainy season.....from about two weeks ago until June-ish.. We rarely have clear skies, until around July...then, it's like the Universe apologises..there are no bluer skies than here....during the summer.

We rarely have clear skies..... 24 hours straight...especially during this season...we can have sixteen weather changes a day.
