Let me explain how this scam works..

A company sends out offers of $XX,XXX for your domain.

Then they have another company ( the appraisal company ) charge you money to appraise your domain.

If the appraisal is worth more than $XX,XXX then they buy it off you. If the domain is worthless they still make $200 for the appraisal. Its a no lose proposition for them.

I get it your point. Thanks for the explanation. So either way they win I lose.

I'm going to tell them to buy it for $75,000 less $250 and that's it. I'll post what they say.

One way to tell if they're scamming you is to tell them to get the appraisal...let them pay the 250. If they balk, they're scamming. If they really want this domain for 75k, 250 dollars is a drop in the bucket.
