I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and have been very happy with it. Fortuna, Golden Rule and Kaiser are also good companies.

I'd find a good local insurance broker in your area and go from there

Sin,

I went to a local agent here by me, got a group rate under the business. Paying now 336/month Blue Cross Blue Shield

Find a local insurance firm like i did and they get you quotes and so on....If you have a corp or lll structure you can get a group plan for your biz.

Blue cross is the mother of all insurance companies but each state is independent, so you need to do careful research to make sure you are not joining up with one that is not technically already bankrupt, as some are.

Here in PA you can get a group plan with only 2 employees or more, but we pay an average of $1,000 per employee (with a family) per month.

I consider that a great deal considering we get put in charge of our own healthcare, not some fucking hmo who chooses for me.
