If you haven't already done so, make sure your coder doesn't use hardcoded values in your scripts/pages for the year 
ie. let's say he has a table called stats_102004, stats_112004, etc...or anything else.
They should never be using hardcoded year anyways, but hey you never know...you might have some bad surprises Jan 1st!!!
