I have no trouble with making people feel better through helping them with their outside but does the show give any mental help to them through the process? The first season just started airing here and I can't bring myself to watch it. None of them look all that ugly to me in the first place and you have to be in a certain mental place to able to go through all of that and it makes me wonder how long doing all that to themselves will keep them happy before they need to do something else.

They had a show on tv over here 'Plastic Surgery Live' which was bad enough and they showed a woman in the states that got full body lipo. She had about 75lbs sucked out at once and her body had to be treated as if she was a burn victim because it had been through such trauma. Her husband is there next to her grinning and thanking her for doing that for him. I would have kicked him in the head.

This is part of the reason I don't really watch TV anymore. Too many stupid 'reality' shows. The sit-coms were bad enough, but this stuff is electronic crack. It just sucks people in and turns them stupid...
