Now I did it !!
I have a photoshop question ...
I somehow have changed my default color pallette, and now the way I see the image in the main view, is lighter than how I see it in the SAVE FOR WEB view ... a real PAIN IN THE ASS when doing color correcting !!! I get it looking good in the main view ... and then go to SAVE FOR WEB, and it is too fucking dark ! I corrected this once before ... but have spent 30 mins trying to remember what I did before, and having a total brain fart ... It is something to do with Adaptive, Selective, or RGB, or something like that ... any graphics PPL know what I am talking about ? |

Somebody MUST know what I am talking about ?!?
When the colors in the main view dont exactly match those in SAVE FOR WEB ...actually it's not so much the colors ... more like the contrast - the black background kinda looks like CHARCOAL instead of black in the main view ? What setting has to be changed ? I think it has something to do with this little "1" in the top left corner of the image ... like it is showing slices, but it isn't ... ![]() SHIT !! That's not it either ... got rid of that little "1" (turned off extras) contrast is still screwed =( ------------------ ![]() [This message has been edited by -=HUNGRYMAN=- (edited 08-29-2001).] |

OKAY ... just for a point of reference for anybody interested ... I found the problem and corrected it .....
Under VIEW, there is an option for PROOF COLORS ... It has a shortcut value of <CTRL>+<Y> ... I must have hit that somehow while setting up my new HP All-in-one FAX/COPY/SCAN/PRINT tonight .... What a fucking joke ... 2 hours of wasted time !! ![]() ------------------ ![]() |
