Why don't they just pay off everyone (they owe) with domains and then have a "big sale" with whatever is left? LAMike, pick out a 10k domain! |
just wonder how much do the entire list value ?
200 . . . 400-500k . . .1m ? just wondered only :glugglug |
Something doesn't smell right...

Hmm, okay, so lets see what we have in this thead so far. A newly registered nick "txtilde", sloppy domain list with duplicates, such serious legal issues involving the domains listed for sale that hardcoremoney had to shut down all their sites. No indemnification statement protecting the buyer from hardcoremoney's liabilities.
Smells like a scam. Btw, the guy from Hardcoremoney already has a nick on this board. Where is he? |

Wonder if you get the site, rebills and content as well. |

He is either not very professional, or his offer is not legitimate. |

Not sure yet on the rebills. I think its legit and just a "want to do a quick sale and be done with it" type of situation. |
Why are we selling domains? The Microsoft suit is done and over with, costing many thousands and thousands of dollars in legal fees (that still aren't paid) and my little brother (age 20) committed suicide last month. Why? Because he needed money and I couldn't give him any... he died with 17 cents in his pocket that I now carry in mine. Please find better things to do with your time than gossip about things you know nothing about.
I am not at liberty to discuss the case, but I will say it is difficult to go up in court against a company that has endless legal resources. Many people here know me and you know the companies I have worked for. I am not a millionaire of any sort and I have been hit incredibly hard financially due to all of this. I want out of the industry to relax and tend to my family. Think you are owed money?...well you got off lightly... you weren't dragged into a lawsuit. Write it off as a business loss. Tell me where to send my legal bill and we can talk about your affiliate checks you think you are owed. Xpics and DMR STILL owe me money! |
here is the obituary... I know you guys are going to start in on your conspiracy theories.

You have keep in mind this is GFY and when a great collection of domains appears in a rapid sale like this most people will respond accordingly with caution and wanting to know why. Its to be expected. And yeh lawsuits are the worst especially against behomoths like Microsoft. They bring companies to their knees. Good luck with everything going forward and prayers for your family during what must be utter grief. |
Has anybody picked up any of these domains?

Why won't your answer ANY of the emails people have sent you? |

Give the guy a break, since he's explained everything why he's in this position of selling and all the stuff he's been through, especially the death of his brother. |

Probably the way it was done, he got so many different domains being bid on in each e-mail, and then you'd have to match them all up in a master bid list or something to that effect to see the bid rankings. I think it would have been easier to just setup a quick click and bid page. |

Spock would use his logic to deduce that the answer is clearly, "unusually high." This conclusion is drawn based on the obvious assumption that if the price(s) were "unusually" LOW you wouldn't have shared this information with other buyers (who would be competing with you to buy). You would have silently purchased ALL of the names (or at least as many as you could afford) and only then you might post that he is/was giving away high quality domain names. Nobody finds free gold and yells out, "Hey everybody, this guy is giving away free gold!" Live long, and prosper. |
