Lonny 10-25-2004 09:00 PM

fuck rogaine malone and the quack the lakers are way better off with out them.

wes 10-25-2004 09:00 PM

Dave, agreed. They can't stop Kobe. Lakers are going to the Finals this year. Shaq was a big asset yes. But he brought them down as well. Him and Kobe didn't get along anyways. I know plenty about basketball. Was on varisty 3 out of my 4 years in highschool in a D1 school. Averaged 22 points. 9 boards a game. Woulda played college ball but im playing football instead. I think the lakers might struggle a little at first.. but will surely come out strong and on top.

Just_Dave 10-25-2004 11:31 PM

they played good tonight

too early to comment...let's see how they perform for the next few games.

bdld 10-25-2004 11:42 PM

my prediction is that they'll finish 6th in the west, and get knocked out in the 2nd round.

I think malone is coming back. As of now he is still on the roster. Just coming off knee surgery he will be the mailman we all once knew.

I wonder when they will announce some new news about him ?

SinSational 10-26-2004 10:40 AM

the kings will dominate the lake show this year.

SCtyger 10-26-2004 11:11 AM

the Lakers still need a dominant defensive role player. for them to be successful.. they'd need someone like caron butler to step up... but i dont see the defensive focus w/i him.

you always need a solid defensive roleplayer to win the title... when the lakers won it... it was fish and fox when they had fresh legs. Detroit had Ben wallace. Spurs had the twin towers + bruce bowen.

The problem for the lakers will not be the KGs, or TDs ... Grant will match up well against them; the problem for the last few years has always been the quick guards. Tony Parker, Chauncy ... there is nothing worst for a defending team.. then being unable to stop a penetrating guard. It will be even more important this year b'cuz no longer will they have the big defensive presence inside (even though Shaq was no where near the Defensive Monster he once was in Orlando.... you'd still have to respect his presence)

overall, Shaq asked for it... demanding 30mil .. when he clearly isnt worth it. he should've realized how thin the team was beyond him and kobe. ... but i'm sure he's not thinking title anymore.. he's gotten those already... it's all about the $$$ for him at this point.

Kobe, at least still has the hunger and desire to get better and win more titles. the success of this year's squad ... will depend on whether Lamar steps up or not... as kobe will surely get triple teamed day after day.

i've always been a big kobe fan... it'll be fun to watch how he deals with the challenge he faces now. MJ was never a team player until he realized he couldnt do it all... Kobe's never been in that position.. b'cuz he's always had to share the load with shaq.

this years lakers = doug collins + MJ bulls

Easy Money is OVER 76ers total.. I think the number is 35. The 76ers will between 45 and 50. You can also get 5-1 on them winning the division with NJ NETS,Knicks, Celtics and Wash.. 76ers at 5-1 is a great bet

No, Yao is not a pussy, he comes from a league in a different part of the world, where they don't boast and jump up and down and scream and cuss like stupid n i g g e rs after a dunk. He comes from a league where its players dont rape and kill women randomly and goto jail. Shaq made fun of Yao's nationality one time, I believe it was something like "Ching-Chang-wang-wong!" And Yao, humbly responded saying it must be difficult trying to get used Yao's language.

Shaq is a big stupid N I G G E R who no longer has Phil to guide him, and Yao has the most promising future of any center...

so please, CHOKE ON MY COCK, we have McGrady and Yao...U have Kobe and DIVAC(DIVAC WTF isnt he like 40???) ahah

I remember that. Shaq is a big stupid idiot for talking that kind of smack about Yao's language. A grown man using 3rd grade humor is sad.

I wish I would have made this a bigger bet, the lakers probably won't even make the playoffs..

Downtime 03-24-2005 01:38 AM

The Bulls are going to win it all this year!
