Panama Company Formation - getting started

Me and my partners are looking to form an offshore company in Panama within the next following months.

Can anybody recommend a good and reliable company to use for this procedure? I appreciate any input from those of you that know where to go for help in this matter.

    Thanks

      Iwas going to use

      http://www.bvico.com/offshore_corporation.html

      also look at

      http://www.ocra.com/ for Panama.

But I wouldn't do Panama. Too much corruption.

That is why bvico is better... British civil law.

Also, you can have your meetings there once a year and take it off your taxes.

Ocra can set you up anywhere. They have free lance lawyers that will do it for you. Isle of Man is good also.

I'll state the obvious, - just in case :-)

BVI is no longer what can be claimed to be an "offshore" situation. When the occasion arises there is full banking disclosure to interested parties.

Normally this is not a problem if the beneficial owner is actually residing offshore, but can be a problem otherwise. Especially if that beneficial owner is UK resident.

Panama is not corrupt in the sense of corps. They actually provide excellent corps with much greater protection than others.

Each set of circumstances is different tho - it depends where you live and possibly other factors.

All of us currently reside in EU. I wasn't aware of Panama being corrupt either, corporation wise speaking.

Webby: can you recommend a company or person for setting up a Panama corp?
