If you go to http://pcavs.com/directory/ there's a ton of them listed, you can get a good idea of what a AVS tour should look like. Then in the members just have a mainpage and a few galleries

Make the front end like a mini paysite tour. Tease the surfer with that and then hit them with the login page.
