Please be able to provide some sort of proof.

I'm not denying that many people are trying to get into America, but you make it sound like every other country in the world is insignificant because they don't have as many people trying to get in.

In 2002, Canada only had 229,091 people successfully legally immigrate to Canada. Wow, Canada must be shitty.

Australia only had 108,070 people successfully legally migrate into Australia, therefore it must be even worse than Canada!

Okay buddy, not too many canadians are trying to "sneak" into the US...a few but a few go the other way too

According to the UN. The best countries in the world to live in are:

Rank Country
1 Norway
2 Sweden
3 Canada
4 Belgium
5 Australia
6 United States
7 Iceland
8 Netherlands
9 Japan
10 Finland
11 Switzerland
12 France
13 UK
14 Denmark
15 Austria

But regardless, simply because Norway is number 1, does that mean Norwiegan's should just sit back and be contempt with whatever fallacies there are within their society?

Democracy is not the most perfect system in the world, it is a good system, but very far from perfect. Simply because a nation is a nice place to live, and is relatively free, does that not mean they should instead strive for excellence?

To refresh your obvious failing memory, or inept reading conprehension, I said, "While the system may not be perfect, it is the best thing going for a nation of our size. "

You care to show me another system that works as well as ours, governing a country the size of ours? Or as big as ours?

It is funny that you said that, because I was just going to suggest the same thing to you. You obviously watch too much TV and believe everything the BBC and Hollywood throws at you.

So because there is no current practice in place that lays the way for you to follow, you will just give up and accept what you have. Wow, if only Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Wilbur and Orville Wright etc thought like you, what a wonderfully advanced world we would live in.

I can really see your logic there.

BBC is a bunch of semi-communist garbage, and Hollywood is a bunch of Jewish crap. This is not to say I watch Fox News however. Unlike you, I believe there are more than two valid approaches in this world.

Blinded by the flag...obviously the system has some problems big problems. A guy with a low C average who has failed at every business hes attempted and had fewer votes in the last election its president.

even though I feel like not answering your question, yes I have & always will.

Still you are not getting the point.
I don't know whether you are too ignorant or not smart enough to get the point.

this thing has nothing to do with the sizes.
Has nothing to do with mexicans, size of australia or great britain.

It's simply about the mismanagement that is so sad and funny at the same time.
It is hilarious that every fucking state is able to have a totally different voting system which proves that size is not a problem.
It is hilarious that the computer systems being used have not been proven to be secure and are dropping wrong figures already. (Go to google and do a search about problems with wrong dates and alike)
And the list goes on

and you're bitching about the BBC :1orglaugh
the UK is the only country that went to iraq together with the US and is known to be totally independant. They have no reason to bitch about the US without a reason.

Go inform yourself about the recent happenings before making smart comments that have nothing to do with the topic. No need to inform me about the sizes of GB and australia, a banana republic or the imigrant problem in the states. I know about that already.

First off, we do not have a democracy (for at least the 2nd time in this thread).

What would you suggest we switch to? A monarchy? Socialism? Communism? Seriously, what form of government do you, in all your wisdom, feel we should go to?

I did not say it was Canadians, just like I did not say it was Mexicans coming from the other side.

Oh, I get it, you think we should tear down what has worked so far, and start over because some Aussie thought it would be the way to go?

You are funny

everybody stop posting this crap
This thread is not about the form of government in the US
It's about the election system. So everybody stop discussing about crap that has nothing to do with that.

You are showing your ignorance again. We don't need to switch to communism a dictatorship or anything else. As with anything we need to refine the democratic process until it is perfect (something which may never be achieved, but in our pursuit of it things will no doubt improve regardless). If you are too silly to see area's that could be improved in the current democratic process yourself, than perhaps you can take some ideas from the following site (http://www.qadhafi.org/green_book_form.pdf).

This is not to say I believe in everything stated in that book, nor that is the perfect guide that has everything covered. It is to say however that, as with the Motor car, or the Personal Computer, our aim should always be to improve upon what we already have. Democracy, as we know it today, is wrongly accepted and portrayed as the be all and end all of civilisation. Imagine if companies took that approach to their own products. My guess is they wouldn't be in business too long.

In layman's terms, I am not suggesting we tear down anything, but instead that we truly work to improve what we already have. Unfortunately, naive, lazy faggots such as yourself are too idiotic to realise that. 'If it works, don't fix it' is your approach, and if your where smart enough to put that in perspective with the reality of the situation you would realise how idiotic it truly is.

I think I have watched Fox News maybe a dozen times . . . and I live in So Cal, so I know about Hollywood, and Mexicans, and I have friends from other countries that crack me up when they tell me stories of what they here is happening here. But it isn't their fault.

Hell, I go to Arizona and watch their local news, and when they talk about something that happened in LA, they aren't even within 100 miles of LA, and they enhance it, and they are only 400 miles away.

The greater the distance, the greater the enhancement.
