I'm looking for a new digital camera to replace my 2 year old 2MP cam.

I'm wanting to spending between $700 and $1000

Probably looking for a Digi Camcorder that is also capable of taking high quality stills. Optical zoom is a must... 3MP +

Not a bad deal but for 1,487.16 us you could probably do better getting everything seperate but it's not a bad package...

Seems too good to be true to me. Here's a quick hunt around web sites

300D body + 18-55mm lens $1600 (grey import/international warranty... with AU warranty it would probably be $1700+)
2.2GB microdrive $350
Sigma 100-300mm lens $350
Light tripod $30
The rest... maybe $80-100?

You do the sums and decide.
