So I have this mainstream client...

who is a realty group. The contact guy from their office emails me asking for the password to the cpanel. I give it to him because in all rights it's not mine but I warn him to be careful as deleting files could change things on the site. Less than 24 hours later I get an email saying, "Hey, I think I made a mistake. I thought I was deleting some old emails and I may have sent a couple files to the trashcan that the website needs in order to operate. It won't load now. Please fix this asap."

Everything got deleted. File structure and everything else.

Got to love when days start like that.

well it was his fault, ive had customers do that also and we bill them to fix there mistake now if its a very good client dont charge him for the reupload of a backup which i hope you have if not then I would charge him to redo the site.

Oh I hate these people. They act like they are web experts when in reality they have a hard time sending email. I am gonna charge him up the ass.

I had a backup btw. I always keep one on CD just for these situations.
