Windows System Error "There is a IP address Conflict......
This thing has been popping up the last few days...
There is no IP address conflict.... Anybody get this before or have any info on it? I am searching MS knowledge base know... |

Try using a more restrictive subnet mask like 255.255.255.248 or something depending on how many nodes that are on your network.

set up to "obtain IP from DNS"
sounds like you have static IP's set.

Is your adaptor overheating? I had that happen to me a while back. Might also help to restart the network.

I got this error when I accidentally set my wireless router to its default settings and my neighbor was signing on and using it as her Internet connection.
