Is it only me or has this board been very slow to load since it got renewed? Sometimes is can take up to 20 seconds to load it. I use cable to connect and other sites runs fast and nice.

I was looking up some history through running queries of thread titles only, on a local database. I was actually stunned on how far back the complaints actually went.

it's free, so who are we to complain.. but it seems like they'd be able to serve up a lot more ad impressions if the site would load at a reasonable speed.

i'd say about 30-40% of the time that i go to gfy, its running so slowly that i close all the tabs before the threads i clicked on from the index load. i suspect i'm not the only one
