It was bad for California. Not bad to most other parts of the country. We had a piece of fence break off and fly right through our bathroom window! But that's about as bad as it gets around here.

It hasn't rained here basically since March. Or at least not that I can recall for more than a couple of minutes. Now you add 4 days of non-stop rain, several inches of water, to a really dry landscape that doesn't do well with all that water at one time and it's a bit messy.

Streets are flooded in places, I guess there were windstorms too while we were in Curacao.

The feamle part is a daily thing. The weather hasn't been weak for the most part, but I wish it would just pour down and get it over with.

They are playing it up . . . .we don't usually even get rain this time of year, and the fires are probably going to cause some mudslides, but all these people that are talking about non-stop rain must be new here . . . it isn't that bad.
