    I actually let a domain expire...

    ...one that I use. I only noticed it because the site was down. Fortunately it wasn't too late; it wasn't one I check often.
    I thought I had them all covered last month. :p

    I REALLY lost my main one a few years ago, one that was making me money... I was sure I'd never let it happen again. Anyone else ever lose a good one just because they forgot to renew?

          There should be a grace period, has that passed too? If it was a good domain I imagine someone would have snapped it up quick though.

              The one I lost years ago? Someone grabbed it and now it's just a junk page. Some fake index or search engine ... something with a lot of popups. I won't even go there anymore for fear of crashing my browser.

                  Directnic holds domains passed their expiry in a grace period. They also email you 90 days, 60 days, 30 days etc before it expires.
