Chat rooms, it is simular to emersion language programs where they drop you in a foreign country and you sink or swim. Get in a good chat room and you will push yourself to type fast enough to keep up.

You could go by a 5th grade classroom and borrow their keyboard hand position chart if thats a problem.

I can type in the dark without looking at the keys, it just comes from practice. Just like someone learning a guitar starts off a lot slower.
